Mission Statement:
Here at Braly’s Barber Den our mission is to provide a welcoming environment for all and quality cuts at an affordable price. We strive to support our community and other small businesses through networking and advertising.
About Shawn:
Shawn Braly is the owner and operator of Braly’s Barber Den. Shawn was born and raised in California where he grew up on a small cattle ranch and was active in 4-H and FFA. In 2002 he moved to Colorado until he enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2009. He started cutting his own hair during his time in the Marine Corps to save some money. Soon after, Shawn started cutting the hair of his fellow Marines for the duration of his time in the service. After leaving the service, he spent 4 years working at the Department of Homeland Security in Denver, Colorado. Shawn felt his life was lacking creativity so he decided to enroll in Barber School at Emily Griffith Technical College in Denver. Since graduating he has been working full-time at traditional barber shops in Colorado and Indiana. Shawn, his wife, and two daughters moved to Goshen in January 2022 to be closer to family. Shawn is excited and ready to serve his community by providing quality haircuts, beard trims, and shave services. Shawn wishes to create a warm and welcoming environment for all individuals and their families.
Accomodations
Shawn has experience working with children and clients on the Autism Spectrum. He strives to create a sensory-friendly environment. Please notify your barber if you need accommodations or support during your service. Access to the Barber Den is down a flight of stairs. If you need assistance down the stairs a doorbell is on the railing at the top of the stairs please ring the bell and I will be up promptly to help. If you are unable to make it down the stairs please call as we are willing to do house calls as needed.
